This 4 bedroom, 2 bath, 2 story 1947 Cabin offers a comfortable and cozy escape from the hectic pace of life!! You will love relaxing on the covered front porch watching the day go by - a common sight are the horse drawn buggies! The living room is a great gathering area with a cozy gas fireplace, books/magazines, a radio/CD player, and a 50" TV with a DVD player. The original kitchen is fully stocked for cooking (sorry, no dishwasher). The table can seat up to 6 in the dining area, however; people can also dine in the living room, on the porch, or out back. There is a small game room with an upright piano, books, games, puzzles, and toys...fun for the kids! There is also a mud room, handy for storing out door equipment. The large fenced backyard offers lots of seating and privacy - perfect for hanging out and enjoying the beautiful Tahoe weather. Please, know that this is NOT a huge or modern home; the kitchen & bathrooms are original and small AND the stairs to the 2nd floor are narrow. Our rates are priced accordingly. This is an old and charming cabin. Much care has been taken to create a warm and inviting stay. Many families return again and again to build more wonderful memories at our South Tahoe Home. We love this cabin and we hope you will too! We are in the process of updating the electrical, replacing several windows, creating a gate access to the backyard from the left side. We had hoped to have this done by the end of May, but it may trickle into June due to the very busy remodeling industry. We are also giving our place a thorough spring cleaning. We hope this will make your stay much more comfortable and fun! Please, no smoking ***Note that the hot tub is broken*** Pets possible with owner approval. Sorry this home does not have A/C but we do provide fans!
